We interviewed several contractors. Scott Carlson of Carlson Solar was very straightforward and open. During and after the installation, we have found Carlson Solar to be very responsive, honest, professional,and helpful. They also obtained City permits and passed the City`s inspection of our solar system. <br />1. Contract specified full cost of system and showed the amount to be paid for by State rebate. We paid the contractor the net cost after rebates but were responsible for the full amount if the rebate did not come through. 2. We decided to install a solar electric system because we want to operate a large 24/7 pond pump but don`t want to deplete natural resources for luxuries. Also, we wanted to reduce our overall electricity cost.
