I was very pleased at how quickly the Freedom Solar team got everything approved. It was about 5 weeks after signing that the system was turned on. The city inspector told me "these guys are very good, I never have a problem with them." Once we started generating power, we dumped Reliant since they were not doing a solar buyback plan, and we made up the $135 penalty in the first month with Rhythm. Our bill for April 2022 (the first full month of operation) was $-29. They didn't send a check, of course, but it is a credit on my account that will roll forward. I'm very pleased with everything Freedom did. My one warning is that not every company will buy back your solar, which means if you over produce, you're just giving them free electricity. Find a company like Rhythm that offers a true buyback.
