we looked at several companies in the valley. the we short listed 3 companies of which SVSS was one. SVSS was costlier than the others by about ~2-5k. which was mostly accounted for by the price of panels.<br />but we chose them because<br />1. the knowledge and customer interaction is just superlative<br />2. our trust was well placed as the pre and psot install has been excellent.<br />3. Russ the owner- is willing to work with the customer and the couple of places where there were mistakes made were rectified almost as quickly as it was report. The interesting part is before we contracted them we did not know anybody in the company but now I know them on first name basis because of the interactions.<br />4. another company installed panels for our neighbours and they started before and finished 2 months after us and the quality of the panel support structure appears flimsy so it immediately reflected on the excellent quality of SVSS. My neighbour actually came and talked to us and SVSS about their install.<br />5. Got 40kW in dec and am getting 66kW a day in mar.excellent layout.they did ask me to cut down a palm tree and i was ok with it.<br />6. the panel efficiency is soo good that the 10kW required only 48 panels everyone else required 50plus panels.<br />so in the short term it looked like we paid more but it appears that we already benefited from that with the quality. they also installed monitroing systems iwth the install which partially offsets the cost.<br />you already have my comments from the other section.
