Worst experience of my life

All I can say is do not do business with this company! This company took over 6 months to install my solar. They lied to me the whole time about permitting and timelines, broke multiple electrical components of my brand new circuit breaker and then charged me to fix it, and worst of all took money from me to upgrade my electric panel and then refused to perform the service and have not refunded my money. They took nearly $1,000 from me and then refused to refund it all back after rejecting the service. The install took so long that now i am paying for my large energy bills on top of my loan bill since they did not complete the permitting and utility start on time. They have gaslighted and bullied me through the whole process and refused to take responsibility for their mistakes or refund me what I paid.

Ms. Thomas, we take every complaint very seriously. I have reviewed your job notes and have a clear understanding of the situation. It is important to state, when we enter into a contract with a customer, we view it as a 25+ year relationship. Our pledge, our warranty, state we will be there for you to repair or replace any components that fail or repair any issues of workmanship. We have been successful at keeping this pledge, it is illustrated in our Better Business Bureau A+ rating, and thousands of 5-Star reviews across all of the most popular review sites. With respect to your job, I’d like to clear up some discrepancies in your review. We collected $850, not $1,000, to upgrade your electrical panel. When it was determined the upgrade was not needed, we agreed to refund the money in full. At final inspection, our solar installation passed, but the electrical inspector determined a permit was never pulled for the panel you installed prior to getting solar. A delay was caused when you decided to pull the permit for the panel installation and have another company install the parts needed to pass the inspection. You changed your mind and asked us to do the work. We completed the required repair and charged you $325. This amount was deducted from the refund amount of $850. A check was mailed for $525, which you received and cashed. The three main parties from Solar Energy World involved in this process, your solar analyst, Alex; the head of installation, Santos; and Brent, the VP of Sales, have a track record of happy customers because of very successful installations and communication. They have received many 5-star reviews from these customers. Alex, Santos and Brent explained how they worked diligently to resolve your issues. I reached out to you, to hear from you directly, but you never replied to my texts or took my calls. I wish you would have given me a few minutes so we could have had an informative conversation and agreed upon a solution to help your situation. I welcome a chance to talk if you change your mind. Finally, I’d like to report that your system to date, has produced 25% more electricity than the amount that we initially estimated. We are here for you if you ever need us.
