There was only one additional expense (completing paperwork with county) not explained prior to signing contract. I am not treating it as issue because the expense was minor. Also I would like to know when I would receive rebate check for $500 from Florida state. Finally please answer two questions: (i) Should I shut off electric element when going on vacation? I have 80 gallon tank in the house. One friend suggested that the electrical element will heat it during vacation if water temperatue goes below thermostat. Is that correct? (2) Do I need to install water purifier to reduce salt content of water going to solarpanels. Tallahassee Utility claims that the water provided by it is among the purest in Florida if not in America. What is your opinion?<br />Would like to install PV system. However in view of high cost involved would like to do thorough home-work via internet, build up necessary finances, spot out technological advances, wait for government incentives to unfold. Would try to exmine competing contractorsmore thoroughly. Hope to instal PV system in two to three years. In the meanwhile would appreciate updating information from potential contractors via internet.
