My building permit was rejected 4 times, and now after approval is on hold due to expired contractor's license! Tesla has given me a tentative install date of November, 2020. With 1-2 weeks for local inspection of the installation, combined with 6-8 weeks for FPL hookup to grid, I am looking at a January, 2021 completion of my system...1 month after 2020 tax credit expires. I started this process in June and was told to expect 6 weeks for installation. I am now looking at 7 months. Over promise and under deliver ALWAYS leads to frustrated customers! Honestly thinking of cancelling. After this experience, I don't trust that they know what they are doing, and my gut says I will have headaches for years to come due to roof leaks, or faulty equipment.
