Paying So Much more!

I am extremely upset with this company and our solar "savings". We were told our bill would be about $90 a month and OCCASIONALLY we may get an additional bill from the electric company they said we had to use. That has NOT been the case! Our bill from the electric company has consistently been $100+. I don't know if we needed more panels or what is going on. I'm extremely dissatisfied. I want to have them removed! They are NOT saving us anything! Our installation was a complete nightmare! I thought using solar would save us money but it's only cost. Don't do it!

Thank you for contacting Sunrun Customer Care. To determine how much the solar system produced, as well as how much energy you used within a given month, you will need to look at both your Sunrun invoice and utility bill. <br /><br />The Sunrun invoice will have the total amount produced. Your utility bill will show how much excess energy was pushed to the utility grid and stored as a credit. Your utility bill will also detail how much additional energy you needed to purchase from the utility. <br /><br />The sum of the total production from the system and the additional amount purchased from the utility is your total usage. Unfortunately, Sunrun does not have access to the utility company's internal billing and metering, so we cannot tell you how much energy was stored as a credit with them.<br /><br />Please feel free to contact Sunrun Customer Care with any further questions.
