I purchased the solar panels because of the salesman con job. He told me My monthly bill would be $10 because I would only be paying for the Electric company's electric unit each month and I would get $11,000 dollars back on taxes for the rebate. First, my electric bill has not changed not one bit since the solar panels have been up and running since October 2018 and South Carolina gives a $5500 rebate which equaled out to me getting a little over $2000 dollars total from my taxes. I encourage everyone to do their due diligence and research all information out there before purchasing solar panels.
