Installed April... up and running May 3 , 2018

I have a 1915 sq ft home w/ 32 solar panels and we have yet to see a $0 electric bill. But, even with the $104/mo loanpal loan for 20 yrs, we save money each month.
Don't forget the fees and service charges CPS each month. $43 per bill.
I think we could have had 4 to 6 more panels fit on the roof. Rainy days and cloudy days don't help at all. Depends, but you don't get much when its cloudy. Our 2018 Tax credit (2019 returns) was more (almost $10,000) than the $7,500 the salesman told us we'd get. Split over two years tax returns. Don't forget to pay Loanpal on time with the Federal tax credit, or my $104/mo bill will go up to $153/mo. FYI... Beware...

Panels look good on the roof(considering there are no other options.) The panels are solid black. There is no silver/aluminum edging visible on the panels which really stands out on other roofs I've seen. I'd advise making sure your roof is either brand new, or in really good shape prior to install. In 28 yrs, replacing our roof will be very expensive. Our roof was less than two years old when the solar panels were installed.
In the long run,(ie. when replacing the roof has to be done) I really haven't been convinced that I've saved any money. The information that Solar Edge sends to make me feel good is just political balderdash.
The # of trees planted and the CO2 emission saved doesn't do anything for me.
I'd breath a lot easier if I didn't need to tighten my belt...
