If you are looking to use Solar City for solar; DON'T. The contract is for 20yrs, they put a lien on your home for that 20yrs. The contract can not be broken, if you decide to move to a state that Solar City does not operate in. The contract has to be taken over by the new buyer, should you sell your home. I do not know about other solar companies, yet I do not and will not use SOLAR CITY ever again. <br /><br />The cost savings is there, however the companies unwillingness to remove the panels, should a new buyer not be interested, is terrible.
