I'm in disbelief over the absolute incompetence Tesla has displayed when trying to install some simple solar panels on my condo last May. <br /><br />I worked with their energy advisor and a design team and at their recommendation, used Mosaic Financing to secure funding for the project. Tesla required me to do a re-roof to bring my roof up to standards prior to installing the solar panels, so on the August 10th they came and removed my tiles. One week later they call me and tell me they don't have the solar tiles available that I was supposed to have installed. Red flag #1: Â Maybe they should have made sure they had the solar panels I needed before removing my roof tiles and leaving my roof completely open? 1 month later, not a peep from Tesla. No updates whatsoever. Meanwhile, my roof continues to have no roof tiles. Finally on 25th of August I get a call from Mosaic saying my loan has been canceled due to issues with the installer!!! . WHAT?! Â I ask them - how is that possible? Tesla came and removed my roof tiles a month ago. They tell me they never gave approval to Tesla to proceed with the project! SERIOUSLY!!? Tesla came and removed my tiles without any approval for funding?!!!! And the best part is, it took them another month to come back and reinstall them after numerous calls and emails to Tesla! And now they've sent me an invoice for $3500 to pay for the re-roofing. UNBELIEVABLE! DO NOT WORK WITH TESLA. They are beyond incompetent.
