ION Solar is not the company for you. Once you sign the contract the trouble starts. It took about 6 months to have my system installed. During the project one project manager quit or was fired and I wasn't told he had left. So after waiting for 3 month with no information on the progress of the system I tried to get a hold of the original project manager and was told he no longer worked for the company. The new "project manager" contacted me and apologized for the communication error and updated me on the status of the project. She said they were waiting on the county to approve the plans. After another month or so of waiting I called the county after contacting the project manager to find out the status again. The county told me the plans were approved and were waiting to be picked up. There were several delays in the project that appear to be result of the "project manager" not managing the project. I was also told by the salesmen I would receive $500 from ION at the end completion of the project due to a discrepancy in the financing. The project manager also told me they would pay my first months payment of $125 due to the length of time the project took. Today about a month after the completion they have stopped responding to my requests. If it was possible during the project I would have withdrawn my purchase and changed companies. My wife also notice a crack in the sealing after installation from someone stepping in the attic. At final inspection the lead person looked at it and said it would be taken care of, that it had been happening frequently. A month later I have not heard from anyone.
