We had our panels installed seven years ago. The salesman lied about how easy it is to sell your home or replace your roof. You cannot sell your home unless the buyer agrees to take over the lease. You cannot cancel the lease and get rid of the panels. It makes selling your home difficult. If you need to replace your roof you would pay for the removal and re-installation of the panels. We were just quoted a cost of 8,000 dollars by Tesla/Solar City to do this. Turn back now if you have not already signed a lease. the company gives you zero options once you are into the lease and it is a terrible experience,
