I reached out to three different vendors for my system. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted but still had question and was also indecisive whether it was best roof or ground mounted for my situation. I was building new, so cost and time of installation would factor in. Maine's ever changing net metering landscape was also confusing and I need to be schooled on that also. After meeting with all three vendors, Maine Solar Solutions array design/cost/customer interaction won out. Many factors but went into the decision but mainly the fact they were local and the team there were very personable and knowledgeable sealed the deal for me. After discussing my possible options, all in detail with Sam and Aaron, I ended up with about 1.9kW more array and an inverter sized for about 25% future growth. My array landed within my original budget but beyond my original design. The purchase and install all went as planned. I unfortunately had an inverter failure six month in, that was also handled quickly and efficiently. I have recommended Maine Solar Solutions in the past and will continue to in the future.
