A current customer, some of my panels were damaged in baseball-sized hailstorm. Ion provided a quote, which I submitted to my insurance. After insurance payout, Ion Solar came back w/a quote 3 times the first quote. I submitted it to insurance for adjustment, but the additional payment didn't come close to covering even a portion. When I told Ion's rep I was going to look at changing solar companies, he said Ion charges more than other companies--for the same products/equipment--because they provide better customer service. LOL. Their mistakes, lack of quality control, and bad customer service have caused a big delay in replacement of my roof! I'm looking for another solar company and suggest prospective customers avoid Ion Solar!
