Didn't live up to promises...

A marketing company, Zoetic NRG, sold us our solar panel and installation, which was fulfilled by Solaroo. The sales process was smooth, the sales person was responsive, and we were signed up to finance our solar panels and have them installed within a couple of weeks of our first discussion.

Once things were turned over to Solaroo, things began to drag out. My neighbors who signed up after I did, received phone calls to set up their solar install. I had to reach out to Solaroo to ensure that I would be tended to. It was 3 months after I signed the paperwork to when we were scheduled for install. Once the installation started, it was another 21 days and 3 failed inspections before we were finally set up. We are now waiting for the electric company to install the net metering device before we will be utilizing the panels I signed up for almost 4 months ago. In between the failed inspections and continued work to complete the install at my house, I've already been contacted by the loan company, expecting to receive the first month's payment for the solar panels that are dormant on my roof.

Solaroo definitely did not live up to expectations or their promise. I find it hard to recommend a solar company who can't effectively pass an inspection. Through the sales process they should be more transparent with the expected timelines for when your installation will complete and when you will take advantage of the panels you have paid for.
