I installed my own 20kW 6-string Enphase solar system in 2013. Using M215 and M250 models, I have 87 microinverters, and have yet to have a single problem. It really matters that your installer knows what they are doing. A lot of system problems can be traced back to them. Enphase's M190 and M210 were problem models, but as far as I know, Enphase has an IQ7-based RMA fulfillment which can solve the problem. Solar systems with central string inverters can completely fail, but not with Enphase's solution. Even if a microinverter failure occurs, Enphase's solution will keep on working. It turns a crisis into a problem. Enphase is safer and has better longevity, also.
