I chose Boston Solar because they were more professional and thorough during the quoting process. The overall quotes were not very different between three companies that I had do detailed, onsite quotes. I felt with Boston Solar I was less likely to have unexpected expenses and they would be professional during the installation. And in fact they were. They always showed up on time or early, clearly communicated next steps and did what they said they would, worked with me on location of the hardware, no extra expenses, and politely answered all my "I'm an engineer and I want to know" curiosity questions. Now I prefer to plug my car in during the day instead of at night.
