Momentum Solar <br />This is going to be a complete review of the company Momentum Solar. I will be just and honest with the review. At the beginning of the year, we decided to go solar. We contacted Momentum Solar and we made an appointment with Mr. Rodney Williams (Solar Consultant) who gave us a good orientation even though, I did my research beforehand. The system they wanted to install was the Micro Inverters but I decided for the string inverters with the Sunny Boys inverters and having the option of drawing power if the grid goes down. We contracted Momentum Solar for the Solar System installation. The installation crew was amazing and they knew what they were doing. The installation was completed, and we were just waiting for the county to approve the installation, and the electric company to install the NET meter. Everything was approved and Momentum Solar sent two employees to fire up the system. All good, everything running as plan, first bill came in and since then I have been paying only the fees and other charges that the electrical company charge every household. I wrote an email to the Customer Service Department on May 9, 2018 because the contract arrangements have not been fulfilled. They told us that Momentum Solar will be monitoring the system to determine if the system is fully functional or if something was wrong. They also told us that we will be able to monitor the system from the panel and with an app. When the system was completed and fire up, no one explained to me how I was going to read the energy production, how I was going to monitor the system to make sure it was working, and how to get the app that they promise for me to monitor the system. Mrs. Gabrielle Maisto answered the email on May 10, 2018 and she advised me that she was trying to find a solution to my concern. She supposedly referred the email to service manager and she was waiting for him to respond. From that email, I have emailed her on June 10, July 17, and July 18. In the last email Mrs. Maisto asked me for clarification on my address. She wanted to know which address was mine because they had two different addresses with my name, so they could come and activate the system????? Mrs. Maisto, my solar system have been active and functioning since the beginning of the year. I only wrote one address on the contract papers. I am only inquiring or asking for your company Momentum Solar to grant and fulfill the contract arrangements and someone to come and show me how I read and monitor my solar system as your solar consultant Mr. Williams promised. Momentum Solar overall is a good company but their Customer Service and follow up on their client's complaints are not so good. I give them a poor rating on that department.
