The outcome isn't worth the expense

I am profoundly disappointed in the actual output of energy the solar panels give my house. I am already a minimalist when it comes to my energy consumption so very few things are on or consuming energy in my home on a daily basis. So, I thought and I was told by the sales team that indeed, their panel plan would make it a net zero input of city energy. They were flat out wrong and they should have known better. I was relying on the supposed experts to inform me on what would be best for my home. A year after installation, I am not only NOT contributing to renewable energy because the panels contribute close to no kilowatts, but now I'm still making payments for something that is doing no good on my energy bill or on the environment. I feel utterly helpless and used by this company's deception. Though the staff are nice, the installation wasn't done to my liking. There are wires everywhere and placed in areas that block views. There was no follow up after sales.
