Dan, Micha and the team did a great turnkey job at a very reasonable price!<br /><br />We are informed consumers and know what we want. We shopped several well-known installers and based on price point, materials, knowledge and availability Sun Dollar Energy convinced us they were the best of all vendors we surveyed. They did not let us down! <br /><br />First off, there is a lot of information to digest when wanting to go solar, it's like drinking from a fire hose! However, after a consult with Micha to help us see what our options were (and a lot of follow up questions!) we felt a lot better about what we were getting into. The guys helped us understand common solar myths and things like “off gridâ€, “grid tiedâ€, “net metering†etc. When we were done we had a good feel as to exactly how much we would spend and the time we will need to recover our costs.<br /><br />Once we signed the contract they worked with our somewhat challenging HOA. We were the 1st to request a solar roof so there was a lot of help needed to set precedent and get approval to move forward, but after wading through the HOA bureaucracy (during the Christmas holiday, too!) we were set to start.<br /> <br />Their team quickly installed a 11.4 KWh system in less than a week that really looks great, they even replaced a faulty breaker for our air conditioner at no additional cost (Thanks Dan!). They also expedited our Duke energy rebate on our behalf! <br /><br />Its also important to consider after the job was done they were quick to respond to concerns and technical tweaks, we needed an additional part because we live in a 4 G dead spot, Dans team took care of it, no additional cost to us! All of my emails and request were returned within hours. <br /><br />Basically, it couldn't have been an easier, Sun Dollar Energy did a super job, they handled all the details, kept us informed, dealt with our HOA, filed the Duke rebate application, everything with great speed, professionalism and all at a very competitive price point and no surprises! <br /><br />I highly recommend you check out Sun Dollar Energy before you start a solar project!
