Before choosing Boston Solar I dealt with two other large solar providers; we experienced a heavy sales "push" from both and met others who had bad experiences as well. We choose Bost Solar for the opposite reason. Quality referrals and great no-pressure approach to sales. John explained every aspect of going solar in terms I could understand and as many times as it took for us to get the complexities of the current SREC II program. The other companies did not do this, rather they expected the consumer to know acronyms and calculations and seemed way too interested in getting to the good part where they close a deal and get paid. Boston Solar was more interested in educating us, which is a terrific consumer-first model. They were transparent every step of the way, great communications, personal touch and the install crew worked in 90+ degree weather to get the job done in two days (they had to stop early one day due to heat exhaustion). The crew was polite and considerate and worked safely and quickly! Our system was commissioned today (partly cloudy) and I'm already cranking 30kWhours. Do yourself a favor and call these guys first and see if you feel the same way, you most likely will. Compliments to John S. and Sana who were my account managers and made sure everything went smoothly and kept us in the loop at all times and the crew of electricians and installers who worked so hard.
