We'd been looking at solar energy for awhile, since I'm an old hippy and am always in favor of doing my part to help protect the environment. What finally pushed me over into actually doing it was our initial interview with Jake, who sat down with us and answered all our questions with infinite patience. The deciding factors: Customer service - Blue Raven has the highest rating for customer satisfaction, and it's easy to see why. Secondly: The solar panels are made in Hillsboro, Oregon (we live in Portland) and not in China. We're big on buying locally whenever possible or at least buying things that are made in the USA. <br />Blue Raven made the process easy to understand and were always there to answer our questions. Things proceeded quickly and we are now the proud owners of solar panels and get a detailed report each months showing us how much energy has been generated and how many trees we've saved! It's easy to understand and track.<br />A final cherry on top is that BR sent us a check to cover the total amount of all the payments we'd make to the loan holder for the first 18 months...meaning that in effect we pay nothing out of pocket for a year and a half. The loan (through Mosaic Loan for us) was quick and efficient, with plenty of emails to let us know exactly what was going on. Now that it's tax time, we will receive the benefits of tax rebates, too. There was one glitch with a mix-up over tax rules but two representatives, April and Lori, actually flew from Utah to Portland to meet with us and straightened it out completely. And when one of us had to take time off work to be here for the meeting, these two ladies arrived at exactly the time they said they'd be here. Exactly on time! Who does that? Well, apparently Blue Raven does. <br />Would I do it again? A resounding yes. Would I choose Blue Raven? Yes! I cannot recommend them enough, and I've been told I'm not always an easy person to please.
