I signed a contract with my smart house in may of 2017. The salesperson told me verbally that my system would be in by June 20th since I was having surgery. I was promised some extra things like thermal pads for my pool and the ring doorbell system. Needless to say, the date came and passed with no call from the company. I initiated a call and told it would be in by july. They said that they were waiting for permit approval. The plans were disapproved 4 times. Meanwhile, I never got calls from them with any updates. I had to keep calling and that is how I knew the plans were rejected. When they finally came out to install, the huge boxes were put right next to an entrance door and could present a safety hazard going in and out. So the installer said he could put the boxes on the inside. He put the boxes in but instead of running the conduit between the studs, he put them on the outside preventing access. They left for the day and said they would be back the next day. After three weeks,I called,and they said someone would be out the next day. No one showed up and no one called. This happened around 4 times. I called and the receptionist said she would get back with me right away. She did not call and When I called, my call went to voicemail. Meanwhile, it was around October when I said enough is enough. I told them to come pick up their panels. Then I started getting calls. They have told lie after lie. One person said they had to get a second permit because the panels were on two different locations. Another one said that Edison had pulled the permit. To cover themselves, they want to say that I delayed the process by changing the location of the boxes. The delays started way before that, and the installer didn't say there was a problem. In fact he changed the location. I got calls from several people saying that someone would call me to offer me an incentive to continue with them. Still, there was no call. The one person said I know we neglected you and we can give you some more incentives. I explained that I have lost complete faith in them. If I have this much trouble getting the system installed, how can I trust i can get be!p if something needs repair. I sent a letter to the company in December giving them 10 days to get their equipment and they didn't even respond. So they sent me a bill and threatens to put a lien on my house. Looks like it's going to be a court issue. PLEASE DON'T DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!!<br />My smart house is their dealer and they don't know what they are doing. They will promise you everything to get a sale and they move on.
