They were very helpful back at the beginning, answering all of our questions about things like estimated time to recover our investment, the impact on our roof, the impact on home value, the need to make some adjustments prior to the installation to avoid shading of the solar panels, the need for an electrical service panel upgrade, and probably more that I cannot now recall. After the installation, whenever there was a significant development, they let us know. Examples included a free inspection to determine if we were the recipients of some defective panels (we were not); news about the manufacturer of our panels closing its Washington state facility; news about the need to re-register with WSU in order to continue receiving our annual check; and news about relevant legislative initiatives.
