I used to teach Energy and the Environment as a college course. At that time solar was not cost effective. Prices of electricity have risen quite a bit and the efficiency of solar has gone way up along with the reliability of the panels. Cost has come down. We decided to install. Solar Centex people (particular;u Chris Graham) were extremely helpful in answering questions and getting the process completed. Jan 29 our inspection by the city was completed and I turned on the system. I think it looks great, and it's certainly producing energy. It produces more energy during the daytime than we use. I am completely satisfied as we begin our solar journey.
