My experience purchasing and having a 8.7kW grid tied system installed by from Green Street Solar was close to perfect!<br /><br />Price: Worth every penny; significantly less than big-box competition. Made it zero effort to get Delaware state grants for renewable energy, further reducing the cost.<br /><br />Customer service: Always friendly and always helpful. I asked them a LOT of technical questions and I always got technical answers. Documentation was provided along with each question helped tremendously in the decision making process. Focused on building the best solution for my needs. NEVER tried to upsell.<br /><br />Installation: Green Street Solar worked with me as I navigated challenges with my HOA review. Rescheduling the install date was a proactive discussion. Technicians were friendly and also answered all of my questions with a high level of technical detail. They did a fantastic job cleaning up my basement after installing the inverter. They cleaned up well outside, but I found a few small pieces of plastic that missed their eye, so I only gave them 4 stars in this category.<br /><br />Post Installation: I was provided with electronic copies of all project based documentation, from financials to hardware to solar site survey. The project manager spent an hour teaching me how to use the monitoring software and taught me how to manage configuration in the future. He also offered to help walk me through the renewable energy credit auctioning process in the following year.<br /><br />I've had at least one follow-up question a month after install and it was answered promptly. This level of continued support is highly valued.<br /><br />It's not fair to say Green Street Solar is the best because I haven't gone through the full process with all their competition, but I can say that I'm extremely satisfied with the quality of their work and attention to detail based on my experience. I definitely recommend them to anyone considering a solar install in the Delaware area.<br /><br />-Ryan W.
