Our solar panels have worked out better than we figured they would. We started this process in February, contacting several of the leading solar companies and talking with each of them. We ended up choosing Auric because we liked the sales process and felt confident with them being a company that was focussed entirely on solar energy. We also wanted a company that we felt confident would be around for years to come. The bid, loan and installation process was very smooth, and our installation looks better than I expected. Auric even made some improvements to our breaker box, and repaired all of the access points they needed to cut to connect the system. We couldn't be happier with the service and follow-through we received from Auric.<br /><br />Since having our system installed, it has performed as we were told. Our electric bill, despite the net meter not being installed until June, has stayed at $8.97 every month except one, when we only went 3 or 4 dollars over the net meter charge. This was through a hot summer in an air conditioned house. I was impressed that even after losing those couple of months of spring solar credits, our system was able to keep pace with our energy use. I don't expect to pay over the net meter charge for years to come!<br /><br />In the months that have followed, I have had calls from Auric to follow up on the system and make sure we are happy. The calls have not been repetitive or disruptive, but have been consistent enough to let me know that they are monitoring our system and would follow-up on any problems that might occur. There haven't been any.<br /><br />Making the jump to solar felt like a calculated risk when we were looking at companies and what they could offer. Since getting our system installed, it doesn't feel like a risk at all. It feels like one of the best improvements we've ever made to our home!
