I opted for solar because I wanted to do my little part for the planet. Jake walked me thru everything, so it was no surprise that it took so long for everything to come together. Three months seems excessive but when you figure in the city and RMP's part, you can see why it would take that long. It only took Auric a couple of days to install and that extra day was just because of our TPO roofing. They did a great job laying out the design so that the panels didn't interfere with all that we already have going on up our roof and worked with our weird configuration in order for us to get the maximum benefit from the sun. I love the fact that I can check on the panels and see how much power I'm getting just by looking at my phone. I'm looking forward to years of lower electric bills and maybe someday credits from RMP for contributing to their solar grid.

So it's been 1 year since I started feeding Rocky Mountain Power my little piece of the sun's awesome energy. No one ever says they are happy getting their electric bill, but I am. Seeing how many trees I save a month is also happy dance worthy. Doing my part is one of the best feelings. I wish everyone had that opportunity. <br />One year means I had my first solar inspection today. The inspection wasn't just a hands off look-see. Al actually had a ladder and power tools up on the roof, and was looking under panels and at wiring. Afterwards he was willing to listen to me yammer on about my solar lover. Thanks, Al!. <br />I'm still 100% satisfied with my Auric solar experience, and I'm looking forward to 9 more visits. See you next year, Auric!
