Easy to work with, but lots of delays

It was generally easy to work with the folks at Edge, but there were a few hiccups along the way. Acknowledging that DC/Pepco are the slowest in the nation for approval of solar hookups, it still took 18 months to get the system up and running, and even longer to get my SREC account established. Edge might have been a little overwhelmed by the number of installations that came from the consortium I was part of, but I wasn't in a hurry, so in the end, it didn't make much difference.<br /><br />There were also some glitches with the roofing work that Edge arranged before the solar installation--not in the roof itself, but with carelessness of the workers, who blocked the entrance to the basement apartment and walked in on the guest staying there through an unlocked door.<br /><br />The system has worked perfectly since I turned it on, and I have no complaints about its function or operation. Here's hoping it keeps going far into the future!
