I had Enphase microinverters installed for each of my 27 panels in 2010, after 4 or 5 years the inverters started failing, about 6 - 8 per year. Enphase sent new inverters and solar installer begrudingly installed them while complaining that Enphase didn't reimburse at a level that was worth their while. Now I have another 6 inverters that have gone bad this year and Enphase has told installers that they are no longer reimbursing for labor for inverters older than 2 years! This passes the cost for labor to me -$450 dollars. I am looking into other means of getting them to honor their original agreement.
