We have installed thousands and thousands of REC panels with no problems. It is a good product at a good price point, has a 25 year production warranty and as an REC installer we can extend the manufacturer's defect warranty to 12 years as opposed to the 10 years most panel manufacturers offer. But in almost 10 years, we have never seen a defect.
