Deeply frustrating

I had really high hopes for Sunrun, but they've really let me down. Physical system installation occurred September 2016, but due to a missing piece of paperwork the system sat dead from September until December. When I finally took the project over myself to file the paperwork, I learned that my Sunrun project coordinator had had the paperwork since October, but did not file because he assumed my utility would not accept it. Never checked, just sat on it, and would still be sitting on it had I not pushed to close the issue myself. <br /><br />At that point, up and running, I was willing to forgive the error and move forward; however, about a week after we began generating power, my system's output began to trail off, and is now producing no power. Working with their support department has gotten me to "Have you tried turning it off and turning it back on again?", and the system has now been dead for another month, with no response to my emails and no technician onsite after another month of not generating power. Of course, they processed my lease payment right on time. <br /><br />If Sunrun wants to differentiate themselves in a competitive market, they really need to work on their project management and support. As of right now, I will absolutely be recommending going solar, but absolutely recommending against going Sunrun.
