We are very pleased with our solar system. It is producing all the power we are using for three apartments. We are keeping track of the savings and are saving about $60 per month. Unfortunately we still have to pay the basic power fees for each apartment with eats into the actual saving by about another $30 per month. So if we could get off the grid we would be saving about $90 per month.

I hope that batteries can be improved so we can someday get off the grid or minimize it as much as possible.<br />Solar Is a good way to generate power, but expensive to install a system. I'm sure the systems will get better and cheaper in the future.
