My husband and I searched for a solar company that fit our expenses, the best installation process and the representative we could connect with during the process to keep us posted on all the steps along the way. We got all of that with American Solar Direct. Our representative, Linda Quest, was and is awesome! She answered ALL of our questions at the initial meeting and everyone since then! She helped understand the process of getting permits and inspections (the company got what was needed not us). The dates of installation were a couple months out, but we knew before going into it. And, the date of activation was not a ASD decision but Electric company. <br />The installation process was great! It took 3 days. The men came at a reasonable hour even though they were very hot days! They were courteous and not excessively noisy. They cleaned up debris as they worked and especially when they were done each day. They left their supplies organized and out of our way (and our dogs). <br />Time to turn it on! The man came to show me and was quite patient showing/explaining it. He had me go thru the process so I would know. He also explained what to do if it had to be reset at any point (which has not ever been), but I would need to look at the book as a reminder at this point. <br />Linda has guided us so we could turn in correct paperwork for our rebates and taxes. She has always answered our calls. If she could not talk right away, she gave a time she would call back and was on time. The office staff were professional as well, although we usually have dealt (deal) with Linda directly. <br />Our solar has been on for just under 2 years. We have had NO problems with our panels, the boxes, any of the equipment. <br />I recommend American Solar Direct to all my friends and anyone who mentions they are looking to go green!
