I'm so glad I found SRE. It was from LDinSD on an online solar forum. I received about a dozen quotes and SRE was one of the best and also Stefan, the owner was very knowledgable about solar. He was also here, part of the install the whole time. My install took about 6 weeks, from signing the contract to SDG&E giving permission to turn on the system. Most of the wait time was for my city to approve the permit.<br /><br />Even if you choose another solar installer, you need to speak with SRE to sanity check what other companies are proposing and the price they're charging. I found some other companies to be more painful than a used car lot. I think Stefan and his company will be around for a long time, with the way he and his employees interact with their customers.
