After meeting with various companies, I decided to select American Solar Direct (ASD) to install my solar system. Next month will be my one-year anniversary, and I'd like share my experience with ASD. <br /><br />I was really impressed with the sales presentation. Unlike other companies, ASD's presentation was really educational and inspirational. I was really inspired by the sales consultant to make a positive contribution to our environment and also my checking account by going solar. The main motive for my decision to go solar was purely an ecological reason, because I am a big fan of clean power and I was not sure if the solar system generates sufficient energy to offset my energy consumption. A couple of months after the system was turned on, I received an invoice from DWP that showed the power production by my solar system covered 100% of my energy consumption. I only paid a minimum fee $10/month to DWP compared to $150/month historically. In addition, I received a big refund from the IRS this year because I was able to claim a tax credit for 30% of the cost of my solar system. <br /><br />My whole experience with ASD from the proposal, contract, site visits, and installation was excellent. Throughout the process, I interacted with multiple people, and they were all helpful and followed up very well. I'm glad that I made the decision to go solar with ASD. Anytime I look at my solar system and my electrical bill, I know that I made the right decision – a decision that is economically as well as ecologically meaningful. <br /><br />Thank you ASD for making this possible.
