Review for A1A Solar Contracting, Inc
Great Product and Service
04/18/2016
After reviewing a couple other solar companies, we went with A1A. They were not the cheapest, but seemed to be the best. We felt so comfortable with the people and process. Installation went forward for a couple of days with no problems, other than rain slowing the process. The crew cleaned up each day and worked well with each other and myself. We have 54 panels and after one month, results started to show on my electric (combined water, sewer and electric) bill. Last month, March, my total bill for the three utilities was $4.25 and in February it was $32.40. The only item of concern was being told that I could also receive a 30% credit from the government for replacing my roof since it had to be replaced before the solar panels could be installed. Per IRS, you cannot claim the 30% for the roof, only for the panels. That was $7,000 I expected back in addition to the 30% for the solar, but it was disallowed. A1A and roofing company even provided a letter stating the roof at to be replaced. A1A should have known that the roof allowance is not allowed by the IRS. I highly recommend A1A and their product and remember that you get what you pay for!
