Faced with a recall from BP Solar of my 2006 roof-top system, I had to decide whether to re-install the system or not. Of all of my options I chose to remove the panels from my roof and install a new replacement system on the ground. Because of local regulations, it was 50% smaller, but with newer technology I was able to get about 70-80% of the power I previously obtained from the old system. GPE reviewed my situation and built a ground-based system for me. I am very happy with the system they constructed and glad it is on the ground now instead of my roof because of the ease of cleaning when it snows and my not having to be concerned about removing it when I need to replace the shingles of my 21-year-old roof. Their installation and support has been professional and cordial and I look forward to doing work with them in the future on other electrical projects.
