Great system, need to stay on top of things.

I am very pleased overall with Intermountain Wind & Solar. We had a 5 KW Sunpower system with an SMA inverter installed in West Jordan, Utah.

Pros:
- Extremely friendly and easy to talk to
- System is top-of-class, best available components in the industry were used.
- I had a couple of slimy door-to-door sales reps from other companies, and they spent most of the time telling me about the finances. IW&S spent most of the time talking about the different system choices, how it would be installed, answering technical questions, etc. I'm a technical person so I was very happy with that approach.
- Installation staff (electricians and roof guys) were all very approachable, intelligent, friendly, and courteous. They went to lengths to explain everything, and didn't feel rushed. They really care about doing a good job. They were friendly with my kids. Great folks.
- Price was way cheaper than the lease companies. Mine was a bit more expensive because I chose premium options, but it was still a great price overall.
- They were willing to make a couple of changes after we signed the contract, and then change them back when I changed my mind again, which meant a lot to me.
- I would definitely go back to them for anything I do in the future.

Cons
- They seem really busy, probably because they are a good growing business, but expect 4+ months from the time you contract to when the system is fully installed.
- With the above, you need to keep on top of things like it is your own project. Follow up frequently on what the next steps are, and when they will be done. Otherwise things won't keep moving forward.

Overall, a great company.
