My wife and I attended a program on solar energy production by Lightwave Solar either very late in 2012 or early 2013. During the program, they said TVA would pay a premium on the electricity produced for several years. (Unfortunately, that TVA program has all but run out.)<br /><br />We contracted for a 10KW system with Lightwave. They took care of all permitting, negotiations with the local electric company, TVA, you name it. They delivered and installed a turnkey system where I wanted it. They did everything within the contracted time period, but it did take them a long time to get started on the actual installation. Since I turned the system on, I have not had any problems with it. It just runs.<br /><br />Since then, I have not had to pay an electric bill on my house and got back over $800 from the local electric company last January.
