not very reliable

I have had Sunnova for over a year now and at first i was pleased, but after a few months the meter they installed stop working so i was unable to see if my system was producing. I called and they said that the meter was fine it just cant communicate with their computers because it uses Verizon towers. They did not have a solution to my problem other than they can see that my system even if i cant. 9-10 months later my system just stopped producing. I was unsure if it was the meter or it was the actual system. After checking in with my power company i saw that I had a large bill, when normally I don't use very much. This had been almost a month since the system stopped working. So because their meter works about 50% of the time, and they obviously aren't watching to make sure my system is working, I've had to pay a lease this month plus now a big power bill. Upon contacting them they said it will take 72 hours before I will be notified of the results from their diagnostics test. Today is 72 hours and I doubt I will get a call. Also they contract out to other companies to do the installation. The company they used told me that they were going to build a carport and place the panels on that. When I got home from work they had dug holes every 9 feet and put galvanized pipe in for the structure. not much of a car port. Hard to park under and it actually lowered my property value. After calling the contractor he said that after everything was installed and running he would come back and redo the structure so it was more accessible, that never happened. This has been a very bad event in my life. Do not make the same mistake. Find a company that has a good reputation, don't just jump on the first one that comes along. Do not sign a lease with these people!! You will regret it! To be fair the system produces a lot more than they had quoted.
