Great company to work with.. so far, so good

So far, my solar panels are generating what was promised and there have been no issues. I will follow up once I start receiving SREC income and with info on how it fared over the winter. <br />We had 24 Sunpower 327 panels put on our roof. The crew was very friendly and showed up exactly when they said they would over the course of the week of installation. Not 10 minutes late, not even 2 minutes late. I worked from home during those days, but if I had to schedule time off, this would have been the rare situation, in my experience, when the crew showed up when they said they would. We had to change the layout a bit during the install to accommodate the septic pipe and two skylight windows. They took care to think things through to make sure we were maximizing performance, while still looking good. There were some wires showing.. it bothered Jason, and his crew came back the next day to fix it. There was one panel that did not work on day one. They said it would take a week to get out there, but Jason was "in the area" the next day.. meaning he was within an hour's drive!.. and came out and fixed it right away. No problems since. We spent a little more $ than some competitors' quotes, but I feel very confident that we made the right decision, based on how things progressed. So far, we are negative on the net meter with full AC running during this hot weather.. and we have generated almost enough for 2 SRECs. Hopefully with the shorter days and inevitable rain, we will still see production as promised for the year. I will update with results at a later time. Rick in sales was the first person we spoke to in person. I then checked out 6 other companies - two of them for leasing, and eventually came back to Rick. I felt that he was knowledgeable and had straightforward answers to every question we had. From the initial sales process to install to follow up after install, I can't say enough good things about this company. The price will be a little higher than competitors.. but I feel that you get what you pay for. We rationalized this with the idea that it will just take another year or so of free electricity/SREC income to pay for it.
