I contracted with RevoluSun to install a photovoltaic system on my summer home on Cape Cod. I made an addition to the house and installed a new roof prior to the installation of the solar system. After the contract was signed and I had my schedule in place; I gave RevoluSun a date, six weeks forward, for them to start their part of the project. On that date at 7:30 in the morning I had 3 installers, and 3 electricians in my driveway ready to go. As many a frustrated homeowner on Cape Cod can attest, getting a contractor to show up at all can be a monumental task. The installation of the panels and the electrical work were all completed two and a half days later! The follow up engineering "as built" inspections, and the commissioning process went as smoothly as could be expected. Down to a man, everyone RevoluSun sent to my home was courteous and professional.<br />The next step was performance. <br /><br />At the one year anniversary, my system, with Mother Nature's help, produced slightly more electricity than the estimate stated in the contract.<br /><br /><br />One last note: any second homeowner would be well advised to seek the advice of their tax accountant to confirm any tax benefits a solar system will provide them.
