Review for Longhorn Solar, Inc.
Scheduling glitches, but good end result
My experience was similar to the one described in sleepy guy's review. Rex did a good job of advising me on a system for my house, and he was very responsive to my questions.
After getting an HOA approval letter and forwarding it to Longhorn Solar, I got a call from Adam to schedule an installation date. That morning came, but nobody showed up. I called Adam, and he said that I wasn't on his schedule for that day. So we scheduled it for a couple of days later, but once again, nobody showed up. The installation happened the following week while I was away at work. I thought I needed to be home for the installation because a network cable had to be run into my house for the monitoring service. It turned out the network cable is a last step after the system is running. I wish I had known this. Instead, I worried unnecessarily about trying to be home for the installation of the panels. In any case, I feel like they should have called if the installation wasn't going to happen as scheduled.
I'm happy with the end result. The panels look nice, the system is working well, and the monitoring feature is really cool!
