our experience with Air Wind and Solar was one of the worst experiences we have had with a company in our 43 years of dealing with companies for our business and home ownership. They were great at selling the product but from then on things were went downhill. The lack of communication was the biggest factor. Promises were not kept and outright lies at times. Many phone calls never answered. We were told installation would take 2 months and they would guide us through the entire process. From the time we signed the contract to the time the panels were hooked up was 4 months. And then we had to find out on our own that we needed to complete a form with our electric provider - TXU Energy. When I objected to their electrician hooking up the hot water heater that we purchased and the same electrician cutting in the roof and installing the attic fans, they tore into me like I was a fanatic for asking for a licensed plumber and a roofer to do the installation. In the end they agreed to pay $500 for me to get my own roofer and plumber, which I did. After I paid my contractor $500 and asked for them to now reimburse me for those costs they send a check for $400 and unprofessionally wrote on the check that by signing it they had no further responsibility to me. Two phone calls later and somehow I now became the became the belligerent bad guy. <br /><br />Before you purchase, check out the Better Business Bureau comments about them and recognize that they excuse all of their bad behaviors by blaming it on the customer. They gave us no customer service and support at all. All I can say is BUYER BEWARE. Find another company to do business with.
