Complete Enery Solutions (CES) owners Matt and Jennifer saw to the installation of our solar system themselves and had a crew assist with the installation of the panels and a certified electrician on hand for the rewiring phase of the work.<br /><br />Rather than use scaffolding (time consuming), they utilized a hydraulic lift, making for a safer (wet and icy conditions at times) and much more efficient installation. Despite some minor weather delays and oversights that were quickly remedied, the install and activation of the system went smoothly and is operating as I write this review. Our system is a battery back-up system capable of total off-grid operation, which is a product other solar companies could not or would not install.<br /><br />Matt is a certified engineer and he capably designed the system. It was built and installed just as he said he would. He carefully fulfilled the requirements I had and addressed all expectations with his confident expertise. Jennifer, Rob and the crew were pleasant and confident in their work and are totally committed to their product, service and concept of off-grid solar capability.<br /><br />Long before installation, communication was conducted in a prompt fashion, first following my initial contact via email, then on a number of visits and during two estimates. Matt also coached us through the application and permitting process, always promptly keeping us informed with each step of the process. Once the preliminary matters were squared away, installation was executed in prompt fashion to assure the system was on line just before Christmas. Email communication throughout the install was prompt and constant.<br /><br />Mounting hardware on the roof is of exceedingly good quality, and required pigeon guards were expertly installed around the panels. While reassigning circuits for the protected system, they relabled the circuit boxes (badly mislabled at original construction) and fixed some minor existing problems (fuses) in the process.<br /><br />Design and quality of enclosures for the solar equipment, monitor and inverter, as well as the batteries is first rate, sturdy, made to blend with the house and is top-notch in durability and appearance.<br /><br />Even now, weeks after the install, Matt continues to remain in contact, keeping us abreast of progress on receiving a net meter from Xcel Energy (be warned: this is the slowest part of the entire process, though it's inconsequential-Xcel really drags their feet), and he continues to answer our questions we have about our fully functioning system. We have yet to see our first bill from Xcel, but we anticipate a pleasant result. We are planning a number of off-grid tests (which should also enhance the bill) in the coming year (although a reduced power bill was not the main objective in this project) and Matt will be there to answer our questions and address any issues we may encounter. CES stands by their work (as if it was really needed) and their guarantee of doing so is rock solid.<br /><br />Matt and Jennifer are CES! They are first rate, knowledgeable and confident. They know their product through and through and stand behind it and their work. They are dependable beyond reproach, and their communication (and patience in fully explaining everything) is excellent and admirable. I cannot recommend CES' services and products enough. This is a class act that outshines many contractors out there with blemishes on their review record, impossible to beat and beyond comparison-and their pricing is competitive as well! They will design and tailor your system to your needs. You can't go wrong with this fine LOCAL and VERY PERSONABLE company! I highly recommend CES.
