In brief: I am totally satisfied with my experience with Intermountain Wind and Solar.<br /> My installation presented challenges that they met without blinking. For example, I have a 1 in 16 pitch roof with 45 mil thermoplastic membrane over 3" of dense foam insulation and my stipulation that the installation not penetrate the membrane. IW&S contracted to place the panels on weighted pans having a 15 degree angle. The manufacturer of the pans suddenly informed IW&S they no would longer support residential installations. Long story short this required going to a weighted racking approach that could only use a 10 deg angle. This required adding an additional panel and inverter as well as additional roofing material padding. This was done at their expense and with no prodding from me.<br /> The installation crew was quick and professional. I was impressed they arrived on site, held a conference to review the job and discuss the safety aspects of the job. A single day job to completely install racking, wiring and 28 panels ready for service in a single day. <br /> The entire staff is knowledgeable and above all friendly and available to take time to answer questions and deal with any perceived problems. <br /> I would not hesitate to recommend this company.
