I had Longhorn Solar install a 9kW roof system in July 2013. I didn't know a lot about solar or how the system worked so had many questions about the setup, operation, and equipment used. Bob (account manager) and Cathy (CEO) were very knowledgeable and patient in answering all my questions. The installation team was efficient and professional, completing the work in 5 hours. Everything works and looks great on the house.<br /><br />With the government tax credit of 30% and discount provided by Longhorn for PEC customers, I felt the system was worth installing. As it goes, our monthly electric bill has been running 75-83% lower since installation, with no significant change in our usage habits.<br /><br />Recently, a strong storm blew through and damaged a mounting railing. The installation team was quick to come out and evaluate the damage and make repairs without charge. This is the kind of customer support I expected and appreciate. <br /><br />In summary, partnering with Longhorn Solar was a good choice over others advertising. The system cost is reasonable and customer support excellent. They said what they would do and did what they said. A company with integrity. I recommend them for your solar project.
