Review for Fidelity Home Energy (Out of Business)

Happy clients

We are very happy with our solar installation from Fidelity Home Energy. During the day when the sun is out we actually create more electicity through our solar panels than we are using from the grid and it is very satsifying to see our electric meter arrow pointing to the left indicating we are sending power back to the grid.

With a large house with a heated pool and hot tub, we were/still are big consumers of electricity (over 1000KW per month prior to the install) and yet our electric bill has effectively been cut in half with no lifestyle changes what so ever on our part. We use the same amount of electricity now - we just pay SDGE half as much for it.

The 14 panels we had installed are barely visible from the street and were installed in a single day. I was surprised how quickly the work happened and was glad that Fidelity handled all the permits and red tape required to get the panels installed and approved by the city and SDGE.

The choice to add solar energy to your home is not only an investment in your home but it's a hedge bet that you will be insulated from the rising costs of energy in the years to come. Of course, if you plan to sell your home, having solar increases your home value immediately.

The fact that approximately 1/3rd of the cost of our solar installation is essentially funded by the Federal government via a tax rebate just made the decision to go solar a no brainer for us.
I highly recommend Fidelity - their team was professional and they delivered on everything they promised us they would. If you want to free yourself from the grips of SDGE, save money, improve the value of your home, and help the environment, Fidelity makes the process of going solar easy and stress-free.
